Citizen of Tooele County

 

My husband and I moved to Tooele County 15 years ago with our oldest son. We fell in love with the community feel of the place, and when our family outgrew our house, we knew we wanted to stay in the county. It has been a wonderful place for our children to grow up.

Through school, youth sports, government functions, church functions, and community events we have gotten to know wonderful people from all over the county. We have seen how people here band together to help each other through their toughest moments and truly want to make this a great place to live.

As a fellow citizen and taxpayer here in Tooele County, I know how hard it can be to make ends meet with the current rising prices. Public funds, including those for schools, need to be used wisely and efficiently. If elected as a member of the school board I hope to be able to work together with our great community to make sure our children are getting the best education possible with the financial means we have.
